The On-site Consultation is a unique service that involves both employees and employers in the return-to-work process. The evaluations--conducted at jobsites by The Center's well-trained, professional staff--provide accurate assessments of the employees' specific work environments.
Our experts observe the workers "in action" and on-site as they perform their regular job tasks. The need for job modifications or adaptive equipment is determined. In addition, and if necessary, the therapist and/or ergonomists instruct the employees in safe work techniques.
The On-site Consultation helps employers strengthen their Return-to-work programs, as well as make work safety a routine consideration. Employers or case managers must request the Consultation. At that point, our staff will discuss the employers' specific needs and set up a visit date based on the priority assigned to the request.
